A single walled compound, and inside it fourteen standalone units. You share the ground, the kitchen, the work floor and the evenings. You never share a bedroom.

The filter isn't what you're building. It's whether you can be left alone with it. The price covers the compound and nothing more — nobody here is making money on your rent.

Before you ask.
Where in Vietnam, exactly?
Central coast. The compound is being finalised — the exact location goes out with the application window, to everyone on the alert list at the same time.
Why is the application window so short?
Fourteen rooms and no waitlist. A long window means months of maybes; a short one means everyone decides at the same time and we place the residency in days rather than weeks.
Can I come for one month instead of three?
We're looking for people who can commit to the full three months — that's what makes the room worth having. If you can't, apply anyway, but know that anyone staying the whole duration is prioritised ahead of you.
Do I need to be technical?
Yes. We're looking for people who build or design software — engineers, designers, technical founders. The projects differ wildly; the craft is the common thread.
What's included in the price?
The infrastructure, and only that: your private unit, the commons, and the shared services for three months. No food — flights, visa and everything you eat are yours. The price is what the compound costs us, split fourteen ways; we don't take a margin on it. Full breakdown lands with the dates.
Why does the form use nostr?
Only as the pipe. Your application is sealed and gift-wrapped (NIP-17) in your browser so that only our key can open it — relays store an encrypted blob and learn nothing, and there's no form vendor holding a database of applicants. You don't need a nostr account, and we reply by email or Signal, whichever you gave us.

When it opens it stays open for 72 hours. Leave a way to reach you and you'll hear the moment it does, by email or Signal — before it goes anywhere else.
The window has closed and the fourteen rooms are spoken for. If you want to hear about the next intake first, the alert list carries over.
